I am a UK migrant, mother of three, and career teacher. I love travel, live close to the beach and get my exercise by swimming, sailing, cycling and walking.

I originally qualified as a teacher of Physical Education and Science through the I.M Marsh College of Physical Education and the University of Liverpool in the U.K. in the dim and distant past. I also have a Bachelor of Education from Curtin University.

I am a teacher of some 30 years experience beginning in UK and for most of my career here in W.A. Government Schools. I have taught Physical Education, Lower School Science, Robotics, Electronics and Upper School Senior Science, Biology and Human Biology.

I currently teach science at Armadale Senior High School (www.ashs.wa.edu.au) and chair the Curriculum Improvement Committee.

I have edited and trialled the Climate Change resource with my Yr 12 Human Biology students. (See the Climate Change Dilemma Trial Document for an account of the trial.) The other Dilemma I have written is also aimed at Human Biology students. Both could also be used with Yr 10 students for lower school environmental science and reproductive biology respectively.
